Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Winna! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Winna app (“the App”), a free-to-play football app based on the English Premier League (“EPL”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility

  • The App is available to users aged 16 years and older. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
  • Users must provide accurate information during registration, including full name, date of birth, email address, country, city, username, and password.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring their compliance with local, national, and international laws while using the App.

3. Account Registration and Security

  • Upon registering, users must create a secure password and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • Winna is not responsible for unauthorized access to user accounts caused by users’ failure to safeguard their credentials.
  • Users must notify Winna immediately if they suspect any unauthorized activity on their account.

4. Game Formats

Winna offers multiple game formats based on EPL fixtures. Participation in each game type is subject to specific rules, including but not limited to:

1. Rollover Game:
  • Players pick a team to win each game week.
  • Teams must win for players to advance. Losses or draws result in elimination.
  • Teams cannot be selected more than once per game.
  • Games roll over if no winner is determined, resetting selections.
2. Knockout Game:
  • Players pick a team to win each game week.
  • Teams must win for players to advance. Losses or draws result in elimination.
  • Games do not roll over. If all players are eliminated in a week, they proceed to the next game week.
3. Both Teams to Score (BTTS):
  • Players select a single game where both teams must score.
  • If both teams fail to score, players are eliminated
4. Prediction Game:
  • Players predict the outcome of all games in a week.
  • Points are awarded for correct predictions, and a leaderboard determines the winner.
5. End of Season Rules:
  • Remaining players at the end of the season will split prize money evenly if applicable.

All selections must be made at least 2 hours before the first kickoff of the game week. Failure to meet this deadline results in disqualification.

5. Groups, Chat, and Contacts

  • Users can create or join groups to compete with friends or other players. Group types include public and private options.
  • Group chat functionality allows for communication among members. Users must engage respectfully and comply with Winna’s community standards.
  • Users can add others to their contact list and manage friend requests via their profile.

6. Prize Money and Payment

  • Winna occasionally hosts free-entry money games where winners receive monetary prizes.
  • Winners must complete a winner form, providing their full name, sort code, and account number to facilitate bank transfers.
  • Winna is not liable for delays or errors in prize payments due to inaccurate details provided by winners or issues with financial institutions.
  • Prize payouts are subject to eligibility verification and compliance with these Terms.

7. Data Collection and Privacy

  • By using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data, including but not limited to:
    • Full name, date of birth, email address, country, city, username, and password.

8. User Conduct

  • Users must not engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the proper functioning of the App.
  • Abusive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior in chat or groups is prohibited.
  • Winna reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Winna is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.
  • Winna and its affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, unauthorized access, or technical issues.

10. Modifications and Termination

  • Winna reserves the right to update or modify the App and these Terms at any time without prior notice.
  • Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
  • Winna may terminate access to the App for any user who violates these Terms or engages in unlawful activities.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction].
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of [Insert Jurisdiction].
